Terms of Use

The App is a business tool for running Shriram Bioseed's seed-production operations. Only people given an account by Shriram Bioseed may use it, such as employees, field officers, organisers and other authorised partners. There is no public sign-up. You must be at least 18 years old.

What you can see and do in the App depends on the role and location assigned to your account.

• Keep your sign-in details and device secure, and do not share your account with anyone.
• You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
• Tell your administrator promptly if you suspect unauthorised access, or if your device is lost or handed to someone else.
• Keep the App updated so that you have the latest security fixes.

When using the App you agree to:

• enter information that is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge, and correct it when you find a mistake;
• use the App only for Shriram Bioseed's seed-production work and only within the role and location assigned to you;
• not attempt to access data or functions you are not authorised for, or to bypass security or access controls;
• not copy, decompile, reverse-engineer, disrupt or overload the App or its servers; and
• not upload unlawful content, malware or content that infringes anyone's rights.

When you enter information about farmers or other people, you must collect only what the App asks for, explain the purpose to the person in a language they understand, record their consent where the App asks for it, and keep their information confidential. Do not enter a full Aadhaar or PAN number anywhere except where the App specifically asks for it.

Field measurement uses your device's location while the App is in use, and evidence photos use your camera or photo library, only when you choose those features. The mobile App keeps work data on your device so it can work offline and synchronises it when you are online; signing out clears that local data.

The App, its software, design and content, and the Shriram Bioseed name and marks, belong to Shriram Bioseed or its licensors. You may use them only to do your work in the App. Business records entered into the App belong to Shriram Bioseed.

We work to keep the App available and accurate, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control. We may change, add or remove features at any time.

We may suspend or end your access at any time, for example when your role or engagement with Shriram Bioseed ends, or if you breach these Terms or misuse the App. Records you created remain with Shriram Bioseed as described in the Privacy Policy.

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we do not give warranties that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with its “Last updated” date, and we will notify users in the App of significant changes. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
